This Historical Cemetery contains 3 Commonwealth war graves from the First World War. On the cemetery is also a plot with 933 British war graves and several memorials from the South-African War (2nd Boer War).The Kroonstad Concentration Camp Cemeteries are one of eleven camps in the Free State during the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902). The establishment of a concentration camp in Kroonstad was on 7 September 1900, and on 24 November 1900 the camp came into being.
